Phase separator

Phase separator is a vacuum multi-layer insulated vessel, which is used to separate the liquid and vapour phases of the cryogen. This device is crucial to ensure a homogenous liquid stream at the extraction point. Phase separator includes:

automatic valves along with a measurement system for filling control
safety valve
filling, extraction, and vapour discharge systems

These devices can be joined with remaining installation components by means of a bayonet or welded connections. They are applied where cryogen consumption is low or a homogenous liquid phase is required.
